A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a recent announcement of a uncommon leukemia diagnosis.
Family and Institution Announces the Passing
The sad news was announced in a online announcement from the Kennedy Presidential Library.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Details of the Condition
Within a personal essay late last year, Schlossberg revealed that she had been suffering from AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer that targets the blood and bone marrow.
The family is seeking space as they cope with their sorrow.
